Scope and Breadth ... WOW!

Romans 10
8. For salvation that comes from trusting Christ - which is what we preach - is already within easy reach of each of us; in fact, it is as near as our own hearts and mouths....
13. Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.

There may be different types of salvation available for different circumstances of our lives, but Romans 10 talks about the "salvation that comes from trusting Christ".

So what is this kind of salvation,
and how is it good for me?

First of all salvation is a God-idea, and when God set up the "salvation that comes from trusting Christ" He was creating a gift for me that would be wonderful and good and generous beyond my expectation.

The word salvation means, to heal, to preserve, to do well, to make whole, to deliver from evil or danger, to redeem, to regenerate.

This is the quality and breadth of the salvation that comes from trusting Christ.

Prayer:
Father, thank You that when I receive the salvation that comes from trusting Jesus Christ,
that I become eligible for your healing touch in my life;
that You preserve and deliver me in situations of evil and danger;
that You begin opening doors of opportunity for me to do well;
that You set out to make me whole in spirit, soul and body;
that You redeem me from the hand of my enemy, Satan;
and that You regenerate me and re-establish our relationship on a new, improved, basis.
Thank You for Your wonderful provision for my life.
Lord Jesus, today I open up my innermost being and I trust You for this wonderful salvation,
in Your name I pray,
Amen.
